A seamless transition for NSHEPP’s new HQ

When the Nova Scotia Health Employees’ Pension Plan decided to relocate and furnish their new headquarters, our team at Atlantic Business Interiors was proud to be invited back. Drawing on our previous collaboration at their Bedford location, we set out to build a refined, forward-looking workplace that reflects the precision, stability, and stewardship their team brings to managing healthcare pensions every day.

Our work with NSHEPP rests on mutual trust and meticulous execution. While the core architectural plans were established, ABI led the curation and delivery of a unified furniture strategy designed to support long hours of high-stakes analytical work, bringing together premium solutions from 3H office furniture, Steelcase architectural wall fronts, Spec conference tables, Humanscale ergonomic monitor arms, and Keilhauer executive seating.

The NSHEPP leadership team approached every interior decision with high standards and an eye for enduring quality. We worked closely with their stakeholders to source custom fabrics, specialized finishes, and tailored details that match the sophisticated, reliable nature of their organization.

One of our primary design goals was weaving distinct manufacturer collections into a single, cohesive visual identity. From the warm, tailored oak elements in the reception lobby to the polished executive boardroom, every touchpoint reinforces a discreet, professional environment for team members, trustees, and visiting guests.

To avoid interrupting ongoing operations, our project management team worked directly with property managers to schedule after-hours deliveries and phased installations. Through transparent communication and responsive planning, we kept the schedule firmly on track without compromising quality or finish.

The finished headquarters offers an exceptional working environment with expansive views, dedicated private offices for complex financial planning, flexible collaborative meeting zones, and ergonomic furnishings built for sustained productivity and long-term organizational growth.
