When Convergint set out to build out their new regional office, our team at Atlantic Business Interiors focused on delivering a workspace that mirrors the precision, agility, and technical excellence of a leading global systems integrator. Modern engineering and integration teams move rapidly between focused technical design, software configuration, client demonstrations, and field service coordination. Our priority was to craft an environment that actively eliminates friction, optimizes technical workflows, and provides an adaptable foundation for daily engineering operations.
In the technology and systems integration space, project coordination and turnaround times demand absolute reliability. ABI managed the full procurement, logistics, and installation process in close lockstep with Convergint’s project leads and facility managers. By executing an efficient, phased deployment, we ensured every power drop, monitor mount, and work surface was calibrated and fully operational from day one, allowing systems engineers and service specialists to transition into the new space without missing a beat on client deliverables.
The finished facility is an energetic, high-functioning environment built for technical collaboration and sustained problem-solving. ABI supplied and installed an end-to-end commercial furniture strategy focused on technical ergonomics, robust wire management, and multi-functional collaboration zones tailored for technical specialists.
Our delivery scope included:
Configuring heavy-duty, height-adjustable workstations paired with high-performance ergonomic task chairs and flexible multi-monitor display arms, giving engineers the physical adjustability needed for intensive CAD, programming, and monitoring tasks.
Outfitting collaborative huddle rooms, testing areas, and formal client presentation spaces with durable, reconfigurable tables and integrated power connectivity to support rapid design sprints, peer code reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
Incorporating versatile ancillary lounge furniture and acoustic partitioning across open-plan areas, creating dedicated touchdown points for field technicians and remote specialists while keeping ambient noise isolated from critical technical planning zones.
