Learner-Centered Classrooms

Learner Centered Classrooms are replacing traditional settings to support emerging pedagogies and student needs.
Designing such spaces is critical to the success of any design practice as it enables designers and architects to create more
compelling and engaging settings.

In this CEU course, participants will understand the design drivers influencing changes in the design of a variety of learner-centered classroom typologies to support greater flexibility, student agency, and ownership of their learning pathways. By the end of the course, participants will be able to navigate a variety of design options that may be applied in future design projects.

About The Speaker

Cori Chinnick represents Ancillary solutions from Coalesse, Steelcase and Turnstone brands, as well as recently launched partnerships with Viccarbe, Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams and Flos.   A former interior designer, she works with both the design community and client accounts, delivering Coalesse’s insights and inspiration, supporting spaces & applications that promote social connection, creative collaboration and focus and rejuvenation.
